AmGuard™ targets this harmful variant directly. Unlike traditional ammonia test kits that raise pH to 12–14, causing false positives and rendering AmGuard™ ineffective, it is recommended to use Ammonia Alert™ or MultiTest™: Free & Total Ammonia kits to accurately monitor free ammonia levels.

In addition to ammonia removal, AmGuard™ effectively eliminates chlorine and chloramines, ensuring a safer and healthier aquatic environment for both freshwater and saltwater systems. Its versatility and efficiency make it an essential conditioning product for aquatics enthusiasts seeking to maintain optimal water quality.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
BEGINNER: Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 200 L (50 gallons*) daily or as needed to reduce ammonia. (Note: Larger container caps measure 10 mL.)
ADVANCED: If using an Ammonia Alert™ monitor, adjust dosage based on readings: for alert, use 1 capful per 400 L (100 gallons) daily; for alarm, 1 capful per 200 L (50 gallons); for toxic, 1 capful per 80 L (20 gallons).
EXPERT: When using the MultiTest™: Free & Total Ammonia test kit, apply 1 capful (5 mL) for every 40 L (10 gallons) to remove 1 mg/L (ppm) of free ammonia. Alternatively, use the formula 0.125AV = m (liters) or 0.5AV = m (gallons), where A = ammonia concentration (mg/L), V = water volume, and m = volume of AmGuard™ in mL. For example, to remove 1 mg/L ammonia in 100 gallons, use 50 mL of AmGuard™.

Important: Do not use if water temperature exceeds 30 °C (86 °F).
