Gina Crawford has authored works in a variety of genres, including a thesis, journalistic articles, and poetry; however, her love is in children's literature. Crawford holds Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in English. She teaches both composition and American literature at college level; and she resides in North Alabama, USA, which gives her a unique perspective on growing up in America, and what it feels like to be a kid. Darrell Osborn lives his life "walking the line between arts and entertainment." Over the past 25 years, his illustrations have traveled around the world and into space, while across the South, he's known as Doctor Osborn, the Magical Mad Scientist. And once again, the mix of the two gives Osborn the unique perspective reflected in both of these art forms. Crawford and Osborn have once again created a really fun book that will introduce kids everywhere to the joys of life and of growing up while reminding them that right now, while they are kids, it's just time to be a kid!
